ODS - Optical Illusions

Here I've gathered together a few optical illusions, which I've split up into three sections....

Keep still won't you!

Most people perceive the images in this section as moving. However, be assured, they are not animated. For the skeptical I can offer two proofs:-

• Focus on one particular spot and you will find it doesn't move. Now focus on a different spot, one that a moment ago appeared to be moving, and you will find it is now stationary.
• Print the image on to paper. The illusion of movement is still there, proving that it is our perception that is at fault.

Apparently, the slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress. Alleged criminals that were tested see them spinning around madly; however, senior citizens and kids see them standing still.
